Hello, friends! I wanted to pop in to say hi and wish a happy Fourth of July and Independence Day to my American readers.
We had company visiting recently — and I’m loving our freshly refreshed guest room — so we’ve been spending time together relaxing on the patio and wandering around town, enjoying perfect summer weather here in Seattle.
It has been nice to take a few days off, but I always miss chatting here when I’m away. I’m excited to get back and share more—there are several fun things I can’t wait to tell you about.
One update I’m thrilled about: our rug designs for the Annie Selke Dash & Albert rug competition. Designing a rug turned out to be trickier than I expected, but your ideas in the comments were so helpful and inspiring.
I didn’t have time to show all my options before the submission deadline, but I’m eager to reveal the designs you’ll be able to vote on this week (June 6). Stay tuned!
