2. Don’t limit wreaths to doors — place one in the center of your table to create an instant festive focal point and anchor other decorations.
3. Use a pedestal cake plate to raise food, candles, or decorative objects to a comfortable height. It adds a tiered effect without blocking conversation across the table, and helps create visual interest.
4. Combine natural materials like wood and pinecones with soft linens, and contrast them with glitter, glass, and gold. This balance brings both cozy and elegant elements together for a cohesive look.
5. Layer plates to create drama. I paired gold-rimmed glass dinner and salad plates over textured gold chargers. The transparent plates let the charger’s pattern show through, adding depth to each place setting.
6. Spread the mood beyond the table by dressing buffet and console surfaces. A simple strand of amber glimmer lights adds sparkle while leaving space for serving dishes. Oversized frosted pinecones and snowy branches in a container add seasonal drama without clutter.
