Welcome to a new edition of Home Style Saturdays! Thank you all for your encouraging comments, thoughtful messages, and prayers as we adjusted to becoming empty nesters this week. Your support meant so much to me.
After we dropped Luke off at college, my daughters and I left the next morning for a retreat with members of the Dwell Well Collective. We’ll be home Sunday, and I’ll resume the Fall Nesting series next week. If you missed any posts, you can catch up on the full Fall Nesting series on the site.
The timing of this trip was a welcome distraction from the quiet house. Visiting the farm gave me a fresh perspective and helped ease that first-week transition.
The image at the top of the post is a sneak peek from our visit to the Young Living farm in Lehi, Utah. The landscape is stunning—like a painting—and it was wonderful to see the fields and facilities in person.
Visiting the farm was a great way to experience firsthand the care that goes into the oils and products our family uses. With so many inferior oils and heavily marketed products on the market, it was reassuring to see the attention to quality here.
I was especially impressed that the farm hand-weeds its fields instead of relying on chemical sprays. That commitment to cleaner practices felt meaningful and authentic. I’ll share more photos next week from the farm’s Fall Festival.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
