Some people jump into the new year full speed on January 1, but for me the first two weeks of January are always a transition. I use that time to reset my routine after the holidays, restore order to the house, and take care of projects and organization tasks that set the tone for the year ahead.
We have more changes at home this month: Courtney is moving into a new apartment, so we’re rearranging rooms and planning new uses for the lower level. If you haven’t seen the update, check out the lower level “apartment” space in our home to see what’s been happening. Although I’ll miss having her here, I’m excited to get creative with those areas and share ideas for how I’ll use them.
Wishing you a restful weekend — enjoy this week’s Home Style Saturdays roundup of inspiring projects and decorating ideas.
