Good Friday Reflections: Finding Meaning and Joy in Life

AAfter a busy week, I’m looking forward to the weekend. We have plans to go bowling, enjoy our traditional Easter egg hunt, celebrate the true meaning of Easter with family, and I have plenty of nesting and little projects to tackle at home.

Here are some inspiring finds from this week, including beautiful images from Country Living.

For spring entertaining ideas and lovely photos, see Country Living’s features on seasonal gatherings. Want naturally dyed Easter eggs? There are gorgeous examples showing how to color eggs using natural ingredients. I also loved a charming kitchen tour I came across—so much character and warmth that I may feature it here soon. If you want to share a smiling photo, pick up one of those cute face frames and show us your grin. I also found a sweet decoupaged bunny that made me smile, and a dramatic kitchen before-and-after that’s worth bookmarking. A stunning Easter tablescape made a late addition to my must-see list—hold onto your bonnet, it’s delightful. For more ideas, check Hooked on Houses on Fridays for fresh inspiration.

We have winners!

And now the winners from last week’s giveaway hosted by Neutral Dwelling: Paula generously chose two winners this time—hooray!

The winner of the hanging votive vases is Kim from Reinvented. The second winner is Heather from Girl Meets World, who will receive a set of cube vases. Congratulations to both of you!

The highlight of my week was speaking at A Woman Inspired. I enjoyed meeting amazing women and hearing great speakers. In spite of my public speaking phobia, I’ve agreed to speak again in the fall for their Nurturing Creativity conference. If you couldn’t attend this time, consider one of their future events.

Blessings to you all this Easter!
