TThis weekend in Seattle was absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t bear the thought of staying inside, so we packed a picnic, grabbed our dog Jack (who was recently named Pup of the Year), and took a long walk through Magnolia — a lovely neighborhood with sweeping views of the city and Puget Sound.

Jack soaked up the breeze, sunshine, and open parkland overlooking the water. We all enjoyed it — fresh air, wide views, and a relaxed pace. It was the kind of day that makes you grateful to be outside.

Along the walk, the scenery was lovely beyond the park — across the street were some charming houses worth a second glance.

Although my main goal was to enjoy the day with family, I couldn’t help taking a few photos of the homes as we strolled by. They were simply too pretty to ignore.
I spotted so many delightful houses that I’m planning a return visit to photograph more. Think of this as a preview walk-by — I’m saving the best shots for another day, and you’ll see plenty more soon.
Honestly, I could move into any of them. Each one had its own charm.

The neighborhood and the views are spectacular — words barely do them justice.
Don’t you love this porch? Imagine relaxing there and watching the water with a cup of coffee.

Or this home — it feels warm and inviting, perfect for a family.
Everything about the area felt peaceful and welcoming.

I’ll be back with more photos and a proper house tour soon — I promise.
PS — I’m putting the finishing touches on my kitchen reveal and hope to have that post up by tomorrow, maybe even tonight.
How was your weekend?
