DIY Monogram Wreath Workshop + Giveaway — Step-by-Step Guide

DIY Monogram Wreath

This post is sponsored by The Home Depot.

YAll—spoken in my best, wish-I-was-a-Southern-girl drawl—I’ve been pushed a bit out of my comfort zone. I shy away from power tools and big DIY projects, yet here I am, about to attempt something new. I could have said no. I could have panicked. I could even have found someone else to do it and pretended it was mine.

But blogging has taught me that saying yes to a challenge is often the best way to learn, grow, and gain confidence. So I agreed.

The Home Depot invited me to take part in a Do-It-Herself Workshop and asked me to design and build my own monogram wreath—using power tools. Despite my worries and lack of experience, they were confident I could do it and asked me to co-lead a workshop at a nearby store. To raise the stakes a little, I’ll be sharing the finished wreath here.

Can I do this?

Will my monogram even resemble an M?

Will I manage to keep all my fingers?

Stay tuned to find out.

You can register online for a local Do-It-Herself Workshop at your local Home Depot store. If you’re in the Seattle area, I’ll be co-hosting the workshop on November 21 at 6:30 PM PST at the Tacoma Store (4701), 7050 Tacoma Mall Blvd, Tacoma, WA 98409. If I can do this, so can you—come make a monogram with me!
