Home Organization & Decluttering
TThis year has been a big year for organization in our home. We reassessed how we use each room, focused on how we want the house to feel, and reorganized our spaces to be far more functional and comfortable. Over the coming months I plan to fine-tune those systems and make sure every closet and drawer works as well as it can. Out with excess, in with order. We’re not finished—our garage still needs attention—but we’re making steady progress.
Decluttering and learning to appreciate and use what we already own has become something I enjoy thinking about. Good organization can truly improve daily life, reduce stress, and make the home feel more welcoming.
With that in mind, I’m excited to share some news: I’ve started a monthly column about decluttering and home organization for Uncle Bob’s Self Storage Company. They’re one of the larger self-storage providers in the U.S., and I’m happy to partner with them to bring practical organization tips and ideas to a wider audience.
The Decluttered Home
The column is called The Decluttered Home, and I’ll be using it to share my own organizing journey as well as actionable advice you can use to get your home into shape and learn to love where you live. My goal is to help you create a comfortable, efficient home through better organization.
I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to explore creating a comfortable home through improved organization. I’ll post new articles regularly so you can follow along, try ideas in your own home, and share your progress and tips too.
