I have fond memories of holidays spent with my family. Every Christmas I enjoy sitting with my children and paging through our family album. It is filled with moments from when they were small and every holiday felt magical—photos by the tree, snapshots in Christmas pajamas, and the excitement of Christmas morning.
Where does the time go? I am so glad I preserved those moments in an album!
About fifteen years ago I attended my first Creative Memories workshop. On a Saturday morning, a couple of friends and I gathered around a kitchen table and discovered the joy and value of documenting life in a scrapbook.
As a mother of two young girls, I was instantly inspired to record our family’s stories. After making just two pages in my first scrapbook, I became a Creative Memories consultant. For many years I enjoyed teaching others about scrapbooking and hosting workshops for friends and family. It was a meaningful and transformative experience for me.
