Now that we’ve moved into our new home, I’m excited to settle into fall nesting routines. We’re bittersweet about leaving our old house, but thrilled to begin this cozy chapter. Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be moving furniture and belongings in, and I’m looking forward to slowly arranging things and making the space feel like ours.
One of my favorite rituals is a simple morning coffee. I only drink a little each day, and in autumn I often swap in a spiced Chai tea. There’s something comforting about holding a warm drink on a chilly morning — it always feels like the right way to begin the day.
My daughter Courtney stopped by the new house recently, and we decided to invite you all to a virtual coffee chat. It was so fun to have you visit our new home online for the very first time as we made coffee together. We shared a few favorite brewing tools, tips, and chatted about the house and the move.

We enjoyed opening our home virtually so much that we plan to host more live gatherings. I’ll announce future events in the newsletter and on social media when possible. Kylee and I also did a live from her attractive new kitchen, where we shared simple tips for a less stressful move. We discussed packing strategies, essential supplies, and organization ideas that make moving easier — many of the tips are useful for general home organization too, even if you aren’t relocating. We have plenty of ideas for future live topics: cozy decorating tips, organizing small spaces, seasonal pillow roundups, favorite throws and rugs, creating an autumn door basket, cleaning tools and hacks, and making a small apartment feel like home. My daughters and I are brainstorming ways to invite you into our homes for these casual conversations, and we hope you’ll enjoy joining in as much as we enjoy hosting them.
