Hello friends! I hope you’re enjoying the Fall Nesting series — I always love this season. With just weeks before we begin the holiday rush, it’s a great time to savor autumn and quietly plan for Christmas. Even though there are still many days left, Christmas does tend to arrive quickly, so now is a perfect moment to think through your holiday decorating and gifting plans.
Our annual Christmas Decor Shop is now open along with this year’s helpful Gift Guides. If you’re thinking about updating or adding to your holiday decor, it’s smart to decide early—popular items sell out fast. I’ve already ordered a few favorites, like velvet ribbon in deep teal and a hydrangea tone and a lovely nativity set. We’ve downsized over the years and especially since moving to a smaller beach house, but I still love creating a festive, welcoming atmosphere for Christmas.
We keep a “forest and sea” decorating tradition that feels just right for our home, and it’s always fun to add a few new, charming finds each year. I’m excited to share more inspiration as the season progresses.

Stockings
