I gravitate toward spaces that invite warmth, comfort and wellbeing. Creating a cozy, uplifting atmosphere at home helps me feel more joyful, healthy and inspired — and it’s one of my top intentions for the year.

Fresh, clean, natural scents make a big difference in how I experience my space. For a few years now I begin each morning by adding a few drops of essential oil to my diffuser. That simple ritual sets the tone for the day: the house smells inviting, and I feel energized and calm.

In honor of the new year and our mini-series on Hygge, I’m sharing a favorite Hygge-inspired essential oil blend that I reach for often.
