Last year we launched a new decorating Instagram called Inspired Room Style. Each week we share classic and current pieces to help followers decorate their homes affordably and with ease. It’s been so much fun, and many readers of The Inspired Room have asked us to share those finds here on the blog for those who aren’t on Instagram. Today I’m rounding up last month’s favorites from Inspired Room Style—items our followers loved—so you can enjoy them too.
Here’s how Inspired Room Style works: we search the web weekly and personally select pieces we love at a range of price points, focusing on affordable options. We also spotlight one-of-a-kind original art, handmade items, and vintage finds when we can. Whenever possible, we share photos of the items in real life—either in stores or in our homes.
There’s no cost to follow along. It’s a simple, convenient way to get inspired and collect stylish pieces over time. You’ll find items you love and save time, money, and the frustration of hunting for the best options.
Our goal is to make decorating easier and to help you make style choices with confidence. I hope you enjoy this month’s Inspired Room Style favorites!

Sources for the outdoor picks shown above:
1. Bistro Table and Chair Set – A classic small-porch set; I have a similar black-and-white set on our front porch and shared multiple bistro table mood boards on the blog.
2. Welcome Doormat – A follower favorite from our recent doormat roundup.
3. Window/Railing Planter Box (self-watering) – I used these on our front porch railing last year; they add curb appeal and a fun pop of color. I’ve shared photos and installation tips from our porch.
4. Lattice Design Planter Box
5. Natural Concrete Tall Planter – Comes in several colors and has great reviews.
6. Outdoor Storage Shed – I used one at our previous house to store cushions and outdoor gear; it worked wonderfully.
7. Stacked Stone Firepit – A lovely option for summer evenings; reviews include real-life photos.
8. Live Hydrangea in Basket – I’m excited to plant hydrangeas in our new yard soon.
9. Blue and White Scallop Outdoor Rug – I love the scallop border; it reminds me of an outdoor rug I have on my porch. There are many outdoor rug options to choose from for different budgets and styles.
The items below were top picks from our Amazon shop last month.
Amazon shop favorites and notes:
1. Faux Tulips – These look and feel very realistic and come in several colors. I’ve used them in my home and shared photos on the blog.
2. Loloi Rug – Loloi makes beautiful, high-quality rugs. I own several from the brand and love the patterns and durability.
3. Antique Brass Kitchen Faucet – This brand and finish served well in my previous kitchen; it’s a good-looking option at an attractive price point.
4. Brass Wall Sconces with Linen Shade (set of 2) – A great non-wired option. I use rechargeable bulbs with these sconces so no hardwiring is required; they’re available in brass and black.
5. Rechargeable Lightbulbs – The bulbs I recommend for use with battery-operated wall sconces and lamps.
6. Down Alternative Pillows – These have many positive reviews and are a comfortable, budget-friendly bedding option.
7. Blue Lightweight Reversible Throw Blanket – Affordable, washable, and reversible throws that are perfect for sofas, chairs, or bench cushions. They’re helpful for protecting furniture in homes with kids or pets and come in many patterns.
8. Rattan Door Cabinet – A versatile accent cabinet I’ve used as an entry command center and storage for linens, office supplies, and entertaining items. Small accent cabinets like this add both function and texture.
9. Marble Scalloped Ruffle Bowl – A striking natural marble bowl that works as a serving piece, a decorative statement on a coffee table, or a jewelry tray on a nightstand.
10. Cordless Hardwood Wet/Dry Floor Cleaner – A well-reviewed, convenient floor cleaner that looks like a solid purchase for busy homes.
11. Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner – A top-selling spot cleaner that is especially useful in homes with pets or children.
More reader favorites and decor picks:
1. Dimmable Chandelier – A pretty chandelier featured in a recent cozy room mood board; it comes in several finishes.
2. Round Rattan Mirror – An affordable rattan mirror that gives a high-end look for less; available in multiple colorways.
3. Patterned Rug – I recently placed a patterned rug in our living room in an ocean-and-gold palette. It’s a striking choice that complements new flooring and layered decor.
4. Pom Tassel Stripe Curtains – I’ve used these curtains for years; they’re versatile and come in several colors and patterns.
5. Striped Upholstered Swivel Chair – A charming blue-and-white striped chair that adds a playful, classic touch to a room.
6. Two Door Cane Accent Cabinet – A versatile piece; combining two can create a longer console, which is a clever money-saving hack my daughter used in her entry.
7. White Bookshelf – These bookshelves sit flat on the sides so they look built-in when pushed together—great for creating a library-like feel.
8. Rattan Table Lamp – A substantial yet airy lamp that brings texture and warmth to bedside tables and living areas.
9. Brass Pharmacy Floor Lamp – A classic adjustable floor lamp I use in my bedroom for task lighting and style.
That’s all for this month’s favorites—thanks for reading, and I hope you found these picks helpful and inspiring!
