II’m excited to announce my new book, a project close to my heart. For several years I’ve focused on streamlining and simplifying my life, forming habits that support an organized home. I long understood that keeping too much of the wrong things affected how I felt and how my home functioned. Yet I often found that clearing one area simply led to filling another. Clutter and chores were stealing space and joy from the things I truly wanted to welcome into my life. I was tired of the cycle of managing stuff. I knew what to do but kept getting pulled back into busyness and clutter.

Eventually I decided enough was enough. To create lasting change I needed a new mindset and different habits. Bit by bit I made deliberate choices and became intentional about making room for what truly mattered. I’m happy to say I haven’t looked back.

My home isn’t perfect and likely never will be—life rarely is—but I now feel equipped to make better decisions about what to keep and what to release. Once I adopted a new way of thinking, stuff stopped controlling me. I developed a practical plan that keeps me focused on what matters every day.

While moving into our current house I was also finishing this book, sharing lessons learned through the process of decluttering, organizing and simplifying. I’m thrilled to finally reveal the news: my new book is called Make Room for What You Love and it releases May 1.

You can preorder my book now at Barnes & Noble or Amazon and it will be shipped to you when it releases.

The inspiration in this book came during a season when I was surrounded by more stuff than I wanted—moving has a way of exposing everything you’ve been holding onto. I don’t recommend writing a book while moving, but despite the chaos this became my favorite book to write. The message was clear and urgent, and writing it felt deeply meaningful.

The ideas in Make Room for What You Love have been transformative for me, changing how I manage my home and how I think about the things that accumulate in life.

Whether you struggle with clutter or simply want to reconnect with what matters most in your home, I hope this book offers encouragement, grace, and practical inspiration.

I’m grateful for the chance to share my commitment to not letting the wrong stuff be the boss of me. Our homes should inspire and support us, not weigh us down.

This book is not a manifesto about becoming a minimalist or a manual for purging everything you own, nor is it a how-to for organizing every single item. Rather, it’s a thoughtful guide to inviting in what truly matters while learning to let go of what holds you back.

Make Room for What You Love shows how to welcome the things that matter and confidently remove what doesn’t. It offers simple, motivating habits and practical tips to simplify your home so it better serves your family and fuels your dreams.

The book is organized into ten chapters that guide you toward specific goals and a new mindset for success. A practical challenge section at the back gives a doable plan to help you declutter and organize your home with lasting results.

If you’d like to help spread the word, you’re welcome to share the book cover or any images from this post. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kindness and support you’ve shown as I’ve pursued new adventures. Writing and sharing this work has been an unexpected joy, and I’m grateful you’re part of it.
