Dear blogging friends, these are difficult days for many, with the recent earthquake in Haiti adding to the sorrow so many are facing. I also want to share heartbreaking personal news about a fellow blogger and long-time sponsor of The Inspired Room: Gina from Feather Your Nest. Last week she suffered an unimaginable loss — her husband Michael, her high school sweetheart and partner of 16 years, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 39. He was also the father of their children.
My heart goes out to Gina and her family. Many of you may remember the recent bunny slipper giveaway from her shop on The Inspired Room. Michael worked tirelessly to support the family so Gina could pursue her dream of running her shop. With his passing, Gina is now the sole provider and must find full-time work while caring for her family.
