Hey friends!
I hope you had a lovely weekend and a wonderful Mother’s Day. I enjoyed a full Mother’s Week—part working getaway, part family time—in Seattle. I balanced work with family visits, and I’m sharing a few photos from our week here.

Between conference calls and editing, I still made time for simple pleasures—gardening at my parents’ home, sipping lattes in cozy cafes, sampling dishes at a handful of great restaurants, strolling the waterfront, and driving around admiring Seattle houses. Expect a little Seattle drive-by feature here tomorrow.

From Seattle we headed south—my daughters and I are spending the next two days at Harvest House Publishers in Eugene, Oregon, collaborating on the layout for our upcoming book. On the drive we paused in Portland for a quick stop at Powell’s and enjoyed ice cream before continuing to Eugene.

We’re thrilled to be directly involved in the design of our own coffee table book, which is scheduled for release in October. Over recent months we wrote the manuscript, photographed more than twelve hundred images of our home, and spent many hours selecting the best photographs for the design team. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch everything come together.
We’ll see you here tomorrow for a drive-by of some beautiful Seattle houses!
