Hi friends, it’s Courtney. I wanted to share a recent update to my small apartment—my new standing desk for working from home—and a personal life update as well.
I’m getting married this summer! For months my fiancé Dong and I have been planning where we’ll live after the wedding. Right now I live in a 500 square foot one-bedroom apartment, and Dong has an apartment nearby. We recently found a new place to be our first home together. Dong moved in a few weeks ago, and we’ll be setting the space up together over the next few months. I’ll move in after the wedding, and I can’t wait to share photos as we settle in.
Standing Desk for Working at Home
One thing we knew we wanted for the new apartment was a great desk for the small den that will be our office. I work from home full time for my mom and The Inspired Room, usually on a laptop, but I’ve always liked the idea of a standing desk. FlexiSpot sent us their electric standing desk to try, and we’ve been very happy with it. The brand has earned a lot of praise over the years, and it’s easy to see why.

Standing Desk Features
The desk is the Comhar All-in-One Standing Desk. For now I’ve placed it in a corner of my living room while I prepare for the move. It’s been such a relief to stand while I work instead of sitting all day—definitely something I wish I’d had sooner. It will be ideal for the den in our new place.
I chose the white model with a tempered glass top. The finish is sleek and attractive; the desk is also available in black and other top materials, including wood and bamboo options. The motorized height adjustment is smooth and easy to use—just press a button to raise or lower the surface. You can sit or stand and save up to four height presets for quick transitions.

The desk arrives well made and felt high quality out of the box. Assembly was straightforward—Dong and I put it together quickly and without difficulty. It sits solidly and the motor operates quietly.
One feature I appreciate is the deep drawer for storing office supplies, which helps keep the surface clutter-free. There are also built-in USB ports, so I can charge my phone and accessories conveniently while I work. The desk offers a clean, functional solution for a small work area.

FlexiSpot makes several kinds of standing solutions, including tabletop converters that transform any surface into a standing desk and unique options like desk bike workstations. Their range makes it easy to find an option that fits different spaces and needs.

I’m really glad to have this desk. It’s helped make long workdays more comfortable, and it will be a great addition to our den in the new apartment. I’ll share more photos as we continue setting up—follow along on Instagram for updates and more apartment life content.
Thank you to FlexiSpot for providing this desk for our honest review.
