I plan a quiet New Year’s celebration—sitting by the fire, watching movies and reflecting on goals for 2013. For me, celebrating often means setting intentions. Alongside personal resolutions, I enjoy outlining dreams and practical goals for my home.
Home goals can be simple or specific: a short list of projects, a guiding word for the year, rooms to organize, a commitment to finish a particular task, or traditions and memories I want to build. Writing these aims down helps me prioritize, dream with purpose and focus on what matters most in our home.
