New Email Subscription Format!

I’ve been busy redesigning the blog to make it cleaner, faster, and more enjoyable for you. Part of that work included moving the site to its own server, which should significantly improve load times and reduce the chance of outages.

There are still a few organizational touches I’m completing (is a blog redesign ever truly finished?), but I have some exciting news to share:

I’ve launched a fully redesigned email subscription service.

The previous setup sometimes made emails look unappealing and, worse, caused posts to arrive late or not at all. That’s not acceptable — you deserve reliable, attractive updates.

Thanks to Daisy, my blog coder (and Darcy, my designer!), the new email newsletter looks great and delivers posts consistently. If you prefer receiving updates in your inbox each morning, the new format offers a nicer, more dependable experience. You may even receive occasional special posts delivered only to subscribers.

You are welcome. You know I love you.

If you were signed up at any point over the past three years, you should be receiving this newsletter today. Going forward, new posts should arrive in your inbox first thing in the morning.

If you’re unsure whether you’re subscribed, use the yellow signup box in the right sidebar of the blog — it should indicate your subscription status.

If you prefer visiting the blog directly or reading via an RSS feed, nothing changes for you. The site and the RSS feed remain the same, and you can continue to access posts the way you always have.

If you’d like to receive The Inspired Room posts by email or via RSS, or follow along on Facebook or Twitter, check the yellow box in the sidebar on the blog’s home page.

Thank you for your patience as I finish organizing and settling in. It takes time to make these improvements, but it will be worth it.
