Blogiversary: Celebrating Small Wins and Milestones

We were thrilled to be featured in The Washington Post this morning for our custom mood board services—perfect timing as we celebrate our blogiversary! While we’ve been mentioned in The Post’s “Blog Watch” before, this is our first full feature, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the news.

If you’d like to read the article, check The Washington Post for their piece on the growing “eDecorating” trend. And if you’re new here, welcome—we’re glad you stopped by. Learn more about our custom decorating advice and take a look at three of our most popular before-and-after makeovers below.

First up is Stacie, who asked for a mood board to brighten her dark bedroom. Here are the before photos:

Another favorite makeover was Tiffany’s family room. She wanted to add global, worldly touches to a plain space. Here’s the before:

We developed a global-inspired mood board for Tiffany and gave the room an international, collected feel. Here are the after photos:

One of our most popular low-budget makeovers was Carrie’s apartment—an under-$200 transformation. Here’s the living/dining/kitchen area before we began:

We rearranged the space and added affordable accessories to create a cohesive, stylish room. Here are the after photos showing the results:
