As 2014 begins, I’ve been thinking about the projects I want to tackle this year. One priority is getting several areas of my home better organized. Small, overlooked spaces can make a big difference when put to good use, so I’m starting there.
I recently refreshed our guest room and am still enjoying how warm and inviting it feels. On one side of that room is a small closet that has become a catch-all: items end up there when I don’t know where else to put them. If you have one of those closets, you know how quickly they fill up and start to feel wasted.
This year I plan to reclaim that closet and turn it into a functional space for craft supplies and gift wrap. I’ve been gathering inspiration and ideas to make the most of the area, and I’m excited about the possibilities for creating an organized, attractive craft nook.
