I woke up yesterday to a definite chill in the air. I loved it and pulled on a sweater and boots just because I could.

Cozy fall mornings are one of my favorite things. This week I noticed I haven’t settled into my usual autumn rhythm yet, so my mornings haven’t felt as cozy as I want. I’m ready to change that.

Over the years I’ve written a lot about simple daily routines for housekeeping and life. Keeping rituals small and manageable motivates me, and it got me thinking.

Why not create four cozy morning routines for fall?

If we want to savor a season, we need to be intentional about it. So here are four simple fall morning routines designed to help you slow down, notice the small comforts, and start each day with a cozy, grounded mindset.

Some mornings I prefer a comforting chai or Earl Grey. A consistent morning drink ritual can become one of the most delightful habits of the season.
