NNo, don’t start the rumors — I’m not expecting. I do, however, love designing nurseries. You may have seen my post on My Colortopia about my son’s nursery and the color scheme inspired by The Hobbit.
The nursery mood board shown above was created for a My Dream Nursery giveaway and is part of a $2,500 Walmart gift card prize promoted on Circle of Moms. Every item on this board was chosen from Walmart’s selection, and product links are listed on my design board at My Colortopia.
The My Dream Nursery Giveaway (now closed) from Glidden® Paint celebrated their involvement with the movie What to Expect When You’re Expecting, which opened in theaters in May. For the giveaway, readers were invited to visit Circle of Moms and comment to vote for their favorite of three nursery mood boards.
Three designers contributed boards: Nicole of Making It Lovely, Lindsay of Living with Lindsay, and myself. To enter the giveaway, participants simply visited the Circle of Moms post and left a comment naming which mood board they preferred. Any choice counted as an entry so long as the comment was posted on the Circle of Moms giveaway page.
