PPlease, for the love of all things SPRING, why am I still seeing snow in some of your Instagram photos? If you have snow on the ground right now, I feel for you. We’ve had absolutely glorious weather the past couple of days and are soaking up every ray of sunshine.
After a long, gray winter, the warmth of the sun feels amazing. The sunshine and budding trees are proof that spring is truly here — and I’m ready for it.

I’m especially excited about spring decorating this year. My kitchen and pantry are finally finished, so I can focus on accessories and the fun details. Remodeling has its rewards, but it’s wonderful to be at the stage where a few inexpensive updates can refresh the look without any dust or heavy work.
Because my cabinets and walls are fairly neutral, it’s easy to change the mood with seasonal pops of color and accessories. That flexibility is what makes decorating enjoyable — mixing and matching pieces to create a fresh, evolving palette.
Right now I’m drawn to bright, happy colors and playful kitchen items. As part of my spring routine, I’ve been browsing Target to see what inspires me. Finding a single new piece — a dish, a towel, a utensil — can change the energy of a room and make me smile.
A small splash of spring color feels like a little bit of therapy. A cheerful pattern or a colorful accessory mixed in with neutral pieces refreshes the whole space.
I love bringing home a cute new hand towel, adding a brightly colored spatula to my utensil jar, or setting out colorful bowls for serving. Those small details make entertaining and everyday life feel sunnier.
