I’m sharing my dining room chandelier and table, simply dressed for the season ahead.
I usually begin what I call “winter decorating” just before Thanksgiving. It helps make our home feel cozy and welcoming through the holidays when we host family for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Adding touches of greenery during Thanksgiving and into the Christmas season creates a warm, festive, and peaceful atmosphere.
This room now feels ready to celebrate the season and our many blessings with gratitude.

Below I’ve listed the items I used to style this space.

Centerpiece Details:
Seeded glass hurricane
Decorative bowl (I purchased mine online; it can be out of stock at times)
Decorative sedum or moss balls
Floating candles
Chartreuse candles
Brass fox bowl
Brass bunny bowl
The fox and bunny hold faux apples, dried orange slices, and pinecones gathered from our yard for a natural touch.
Wreath on the windows to frame the view and add soft greenery.

Chandelier Decor Details:
Chandelier as the room’s focal point
Star garland for a whimsical accent
Faux cedar garland to bring texture and evergreen scent
Plaid ribbon to add pattern and a cozy, traditional feel
More Details:
Gingham pillows on the bench and block-print pillows add comfortable, layered seating textures.
A rattan lidded basket on the shelves provides hidden storage while keeping the look natural and relaxed.
A selection of favorite home and garden coffee table books gives the shelves personality and invites guests to linger.
A small gingerbread village and paper trees with paper snowmen add playful holiday charm and unexpected details.
A rattan cart styled with a lamp, a blue-and-white planter, and a small tree creates a decorated vignette that’s useful and decorative.
