Our Easter celebration will feel a little different this year because of the quarantine, but I’m determined to make it special. I’m grateful my husband and our children, Courtney and Luke, are here at home with me. We plan to include the rest of the family by hosting a virtual gathering on Zoom. It’s a new way to celebrate together, but we’re embracing it and looking forward to making good memories.
The weather has been beautiful and is forecast to stay sunny for the coming week, so we’ve been spending time outside sprucing up our side patio and deck. It’s been fun to rearrange and refresh these spaces using mostly what we already own. I love how a small shift in furniture and accessories can make the areas feel like new.
We’re considering having Easter brunch or dinner outdoors — maybe both — to enjoy the sunshine. I’ll share photos of the refreshed patio and deck on the blog next week so you can see the new look and get ideas for your own outdoor spaces.
