WELCOME, FRIENDS!
It’s here — nesting season, the cozy, inward-turning time many of us eagerly welcome.
Some of you may remember this series, and for those who are new, let’s begin at the beginning.
What is fall nesting?
Fall nesting is a mindset as much as a season. It’s a gentle invitation to slow down, turn inward, and make home feel especially comforting and intentional.
It doesn’t need to start because a date on the calendar says so or because the temperature drops. Instead, it begins when we decide to welcome the feeling of autumn — the calm, the rituals, the shift toward home.
Rather than rushing to leave summer behind, fall nesting is about savoring the transition. It’s thoughtful, purposeful, and quietly celebratory of all things cozy.
Home is always meant to be a sanctuary, but in this season we naturally focus on gathering, comforting, and nurturing the people we love.

In this particular season, we feel the impulse to turn our hearts inward.
This Fall Nesting series is about remembering and practicing the small rituals that make home feel warm and welcome.
It’s those familiar ways we nurture and gather, making our home a cozy refuge.
It’s preparing our nest so it’s inviting and comfortable for the people we love.
It’s awakening our senses so we can fully appreciate the place we call home.
It’s expressing gratitude for the season we’re in.
I’m excited to share how I’m making my own home cozier this season and to invite you to do the same.

Before you start nesting, a couple quick notes:
I’ve created a series start page where I’ll add each Fall Nesting post as it publishes. You can use that page to find links to any posts you missed and to watch our Fall Nesting video.
When you download your print or cozy up your home, tag your photos with #fallnesting so we can see your spaces and share in the cozy inspiration.
I’d love to hear from you — leave a comment to let us know you’re following along and tell us what you’re most looking forward to this season.
Tomorrow I’ll share a few easy ways I’ve added autumn vibes to my kitchen — see you back here then!
