I’m a homebody at heart, but I still cherish occasional getaways. My perfect escape is a small, charming hotel in a picturesque town. Give me a quiet, cozy room with fluffy bedding, stacks of books, excellent food, and the scent of coastal air, and I’m content. I’ve always dreamed of visiting Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard — it’s a plan I haven’t given up on and hope to make real one day.

Even when travel felt easier and more spontaneous, my guiding principle remained the same: make your home feel like your favorite destination. Do you see your home that way? That mindset motivates me to tackle long‑postponed projects and to add small touches around the house that create a daily sense of vacation.

If you could go anywhere this summer, where would you go? Which room in your home feels most like a vacation spot to you?
