Would you like to join me on a Seabrook dream house tour? My family and I were thrilled to spend a few days in a literal dream home on the Washington coast. The house belongs to my friend Susan, and we feel so grateful for her generosity in sharing it. As a long-time blog reader, she knows my love for cozy, charming homes.
Susan and her husband had this beautiful home custom built. You might recall it from a post I shared last fall before they moved in. Susan drew inspiration from elements in our kitchen and other homes featured on the blog, so it was a delight to see those ideas realized in her home.

I never imagined I would tour the house in person, much less stay there. Even more special, Susan and her husband gave our family the run of their home for several days so we could relax and enjoy the space. Their hospitality was an incredible gift to us, and because this is their personal home—not a rental—it felt especially meaningful.
In a surprising turn, they recently decided to put the house on the market. They’ve chosen to embrace a new adventure and travel the country in an RV. While I’m sad to see the house go, I admire their courage and zest for life. This decision is a reminder to seize opportunities and live fully.

I’m so thankful I experienced this home while they still owned it. I would buy it in a heartbeat if it were meant to be—the house and the Seabrook neighborhood feel as charming to me as Nantucket. During our stay I felt completely at home; the view, setting, and cozy atmosphere made it a true dream house.
I took many photos of the house and the surrounding neighborhood. There are so many thoughtful details, architectural touches, and design ideas worth sharing. I’ll post more of those photos and takeaways here on the blog soon.
If you’d like a live walkthrough, follow me on Instagram to watch the tour in my stories. Look for the Seabrook highlight beneath my profile photo to see the full tour.
UPDATE: come take the two-part tour on the blog HERE!
There’s much more to come both on Instagram and on the blog with additional photos and design notes from this special weekend.
Happy day, friend!
If you’re curious about the listing, there’s a fun magazine-style brochure with the house details. And if you do end up buying this—or any dream house—know that I’d be happy to house-sit for you. 🙂
