Can you believe it’s almost December? I’m thrilled our little dining nook is finally finished, and I had some early holiday fun setting up a simple Christmas and winter table. I’ll be adding more holiday touches this week, but for now the table feels cozy and inviting.
With our first grandson on the way — Courtney’s baby is due February 14th — I’m already dreaming of the memories we’ll make together at Christmastime and throughout the year. I can’t wait to share those special moments with him.
I found the cutest gingerbread house and snowflake appetizer plates and couldn’t resist adding them. I don’t have a full set of Christmas dishes, but these small plates are the perfect festive accent layered over our all-season white dinnerware. A few months ago I picked up greenish hobnail goblets that I love, so I pulled together a few other pieces I already own to create this warm, mix-and-match look that works beyond the holidays. All of the item sources are listed below.
I’m excited for cozy Christmas mornings and evenings gathered around this table with little ones again.
Happy decorating and memory-making, friends!
