Welcome to week three of The Love Your Home Challenge, Spring edition. We’re partway through the 31-day series and I’m so glad you’re joining in. These daily prompts are a simple, practical way to take small actions that make your home more comfortable and meaningful. As you follow each day’s focus, you may find yourself making steady, tangible progress—little improvements that add up and really change how a space feels.
Social media and blogs provide an endless stream of beautiful room photos and creative ideas, but those picture-perfect spaces can feel distant or unattainable. This challenge celebrates the everyday actions you can take now: things you can touch, see, and enjoy today. The prompts are meant to be doable and rewarding—small tasks that brighten your home and lift your spirits.
Enjoy this week’s challenges and come back to share which ones you completed. Tell a friend or two and celebrate the small wins together.

Day 15 – Making Memories: Many of our favorite photos now live only on phones or computers. Today, look through your digital images and choose a few candid moments or special snapshots to print. Send them to an online photo printer or print directly from your phone if you can. Update frames around the house, tuck a few into cards, or mail prints to family members—those small mailed surprises mean a lot.
Day 16 – A Place of Your Own: Do you have a small corner that’s just for you—a cozy chair, a desk, a window seat? Give that spot some attention. Add a fresh pillow or throw, clear clutter from the tabletop, place a vase of flowers or a favorite mug nearby, and create a little stack of books or magazines. Make the space inviting so it becomes your restful retreat.
Day 17 – Lovely Linens: Take time to streamline and refresh bedding and linens. Pare down any extras you don’t use and organize the shelf or closet where you store sheets and pillowcases. Make a simple linen spray to keep things smelling fresh—try a blend of water with a few drops of lavender and lemon essential oils in a small spray bottle.
Day 18 – A Gracious Giver: Gather and organize your gift-wrapping supplies. Smooth or store wrapping paper so it stays neat, sort ribbons and tags, and set up a small area where you can wrap gifts with ease. If you like, make or print a few gift tags or pick up a new roll of paper to inspire a special finishing touch when you give.
Day 19 – Make it Sparkle: Focus on the bathroom today and give it a good refresh. You can deep-clean the whole room or choose one area that needs attention—clean mirrors, polish faucets, tidy a drawer or shelf. Step back and enjoy the results when things sparkle.
Day 20 – Music to Your Soul: Music shifts mood and brightens routines. Today create or organize playlists for different moments: a lively cleaning mix, a relaxed dinner playlist, or a collection of songs that inspire you. Use whatever music service or app you prefer on your phone or computer and let good music set the tone at home.
Day 21 – A Cleaning Frenzy: Set aside 15 minutes to clean as much as you can. Before you start, snap a quick before photo of the area you’ll tackle. Put on your cleaning playlist, set a timer for 15 minutes, and go. When the timer ends, take an after photo and notice how much can change in a short burst of focused effort.
