I’ve always loved decorating with a touch of whimsy at the holidays to make the season feel magical for our kids. Now that the first grandbabies have arrived, those little traditions feel even more special. This year we started bringing out a few favorite pieces early, which has been a lovely way to ease into the festive season.

I fell in love with a checkered wool Christmas stocking — it’s charming and comes in multiple colors, so I picked up two. I also can’t resist bunny accessories; they add a playful, nostalgic touch. A hooked wool pillow pairs nicely with a plaid cushion for a layered, cozy look.

I’m looking forward to baking with the little ones and filling a polka dot tree plate with cookies for Santa. Simple festive dishes and napkins make holiday baking feel extra special.
When it gets chilly, I love pulling a chair up by the fire. Our new wood spindle side table is lightweight and the perfect size to move wherever you need it for a cup of cocoa or a stack of books.
A wicker basket tray makes serving holiday treats by the fire feel extra cozy and intentional. It’s a practical piece that adds rustic charm to casual gatherings.
