HHello, friends! I’m glad you stopped by. It’s been one of those weeks — my camera finally died after years of use. Frustrating, but also a reminder that small changes can refresh the way we see our homes.
Ready to refresh a room? One of the simplest, most effective updates is a rug. A new rug can change the mood, shift the color palette, add texture, or instantly increase the cozy factor. It’s one of the easiest ways to transform a space without a big investment.

A bold pattern can become the focal point, a neutral layer can tie furniture together, and a textured rug can add depth. You can layer rugs or use them on top of carpet, so the possibilities for updates are plentiful. I also like swapping in a small rug by the door to mark each season.
We’ll likely see several rug updates here this year. My daughters and I designed two rugs for Dash & Albert that will be available through retailers this fall, and I already have a new bedroom rug on order.
