With spring arriving, my head is full of ideas for small garden getaways in our new yard. There are so many possibilities it can feel overwhelming — I suspect I’m not alone. Big plans and inspiration often require time to evolve, and it’s worth letting ideas breathe so you can choose the ones that make the most sense.
When we renovated our last yard, I managed those big dreams by focusing on one zone at a time. Concentrating on a single special area allowed us to stretch the budget and resources, and it kept the work from feeling like too much all at once. Tackling projects in stages made the transformation manageable and enjoyable.
