Years ago I featured a room where a vintage pull-down map was installed to conceal a flat-screen TV. I loved the idea at once and promised myself I would try it someday. I still haven’t had the chance—our TV isn’t wall-mounted—so it’s back on my to-do list. Recently I came across someone who did install one, and the result is stunning.

Karen shared her project on Home Love Stories, showing how she used the pull-down map to hide the television when it’s not in use. Her room is beautifully styled, and the map adds a charming vintage touch while keeping the TV discreet. Visit Home Love Stories to view more photos and learn how she installed the pulldown map, and see additional ideas on her blog Perfecting the Homefront.
