HHello and happy September, friends. That classic autumn kitchen color palette got me inspired — even if it feels a little early for some, I can’t help looking forward to the change of seasons. I’m ready for crisp air, cozy layers, and all the fall things.
What’s on your fall wish list? I start noticing my surroundings differently this time of year and love bringing back layered textures and warm accents. I spent some time browsing online today and found a lot of great Labor Day deals. Pottery Barn has a solid sale right now. My leather loveseat in the toffee color has been one of my favorite purchases — we still love it. I also keep finding bed styles at Pottery Barn that I adore and can’t quite decide between. There are some beautiful furniture and decor pieces worth checking out, including a distressed blue coffee table that caught my eye and some charming bread paddles that reminded me of antique oars I once hung in an X on the wall.
Pottery Barn Kids is another great place to shop, especially for smaller-scale fixtures and lighting that suit low ceilings and compact rooms — I actually found the guest room chandelier there. Wayfair is also a reliable source for home items and often has timely deals that are worth a quick browse.
I’m loving a bone-inlay octagon mirror I spotted — it’s a clearance final-sale find, so it may not last long. West Elm currently has a “buy more, save more” promotion with free shipping and up to 30% off. Nordstrom often features strong discounts and free shipping on select items, and right now they have a number of pieces at around 40% off.
Anthropologie frequently runs tempting sales — I’m a fan of their textured and tasseled shams, which happen to be reversible. Overstock has offered great finds for my home in the past and currently features deep discounts up to 70% off plus free shipping on orders over $45. Urban Outfitters’ home section is worth a look too; they often include free shipping and extra discounts on sale items.
I ordered a runner rug to add cozy fall vibes to my home and I can’t wait to share it — I love how it looks. Many retailers offer incentives like 10% off or free shipping over certain thresholds, so it pays to look around. Joss and Main currently has an extra 20% off on a selection of furniture and accessories.
Kylee found a lovely sofa at Crate and Barrel, and they’re offering 15% off at the moment if you’re shopping this weekend. Pier 1 Imports has cute house lanterns and other seasonal decor with discounts and free shipping, and Etsy continues to be a favorite for unique handmade items and small-business finds.
Williams Sonoma had me daydreaming about cast iron cookware — their current promotion includes 20% off and fast shipping on select items. If you’re looking to update kitchen pieces for the season, that’s a good moment to shop.
