Hi friends, Kylee here with a house update! You may have already seen my short video tour if you follow me on Instagram, but I wanted to share that we’ve officially moved into our new house in Portland.
After a year of searching in a challenging market, we expected to end up with an expensive fixer-upper. We’re still so grateful that we found a home that checks so many boxes. It blends historic character with modern conveniences, and best of all, it doesn’t need any major remodeling. I have a few small projects in mind, but mostly I’m excited to focus on decorating and making the space our own.
The house is a classic Cape Cod style, which feels timeless and full of charm. I already have lots of ideas for boosting the curb appeal and adding personal touches to the exterior and landscaping.
I’m currently surrounded by boxes, but here are a few photos I took on moving day while the rooms were still empty. They give a good sense of the layout and light, and I can’t wait to share how everything evolves as we settle in.
