Happy first week of fall — it’s time for the cozy season!
Welcome to a fall tour of our main floor. We moved into this home three years ago in the fall of 2021 after selling our Seattle house and downsizing to the coast. That same autumn my parents moved in with us. In 2023 we completed a year-long renovation, including the addition of a Tiny Cottage, to make our space comfortable and welcoming for everyone.
This is the first fall where we truly feel settled. No more major renovations or moves — we’re here to stay, and I’m savoring every cozy moment at home.
As a HomeBody, fall is my favorite season to be at home: warm textures, layered lighting, and simple touches that make the house feel like a snug retreat.

I’ll be sharing some exciting news from around our house soon — stay tuned!
If you’re part of my HomeBody community, you’ll be the first to hear and see the news. Our HomeBody group is full of people who love all things homey and cozy. This October we’ll pick a room to “cozify” and share small, weekly progress — I’ll be doing the same and would love for you to join in.
Happy Fall Nesting — enjoy this little tour of our home in the first official week of the season.

I finally treated myself to a pitcher I’ve had on my wish list for a while — it feels right at home in the kitchen.

Each morning I add a fall-inspired scent to the diffuser to set a cozy mood throughout the house.

The new basket bed for Lily arrived — we haven’t decided on a cushion yet, but she already seems to love fluffy pillows and blankets.
