Christmas Ideas
Between everyday life and preparing for Christmas, I haven’t posted here in a few days. There’s been a lot to do — decorating, cleaning, and getting ready to welcome you (virtually) for Christmas Home Tours next week. I’m not quite ready to open my doors, but the process has been a lot of fun. This has been the most enjoyable Christmas decorating I’ve done since moving into this house.

Not posting here recently doesn’t mean I’ve been quiet elsewhere — I’ve been active on other sites sharing ideas and projects.
I’ve been adding new Christmas DIY projects and a few recent Room Tours for inspiration. I enjoy featuring fellow bloggers and their creative spaces, so be sure to take a look — I’ll be adding more throughout the week.
Note: If you’re featured in a Room Tour or DIY post, don’t forget to grab your “I was featured” button.

I also wrote a post for (in)courage called The Good Dishes, about gratitude, hospitality, and the blessings found in ordinary days. It’s a piece I hope you’ll enjoy.
And I compiled six simple DIY Christmas crafts for Roomag, actress Candace Cameron Bure’s online magazine. It was fun to share a few of my favorite easy projects — take a look when you have a moment.

I’ll be back soon with more decorating updates and additional Room Tours and DIY posts throughout the week. If I can keep Jack from undoing my decorations, I’ll also share what I’ve been doing at my own house before the Home Tours begin here at The Inspired Room. I hope you’ll join the fun!
And because there’s always room for another celebration, I’m also preparing for our church’s second annual Hideous Christmas Sweater Party and Awkward Family Photo Day this weekend. Never a dull moment around here!
How about you — is your week as busy as mine?
