Our tiny tree wore simple prayer chains from church, a gentle reminder of gratitude and the needs of others. It felt good to pause, give thanks, and celebrate the blessings we often take for granted.

Now the last of our family guests have left and I’m preparing my daughter for surgery on Monday to remove her tonsils. Through all of it, I want you to know how grateful I am for the support and kindness of blogging friends—your visits and warm words helped make this season bright.
We are also keeping Edie and her family in our prayers after their house fire during the holidays. While the loss of a home is devastating, we are thankful that everyone escaped unharmed—a truly priceless blessing.
