Yesterday I wrote about one of my next renovation projects: moving our master bedroom to the other side of the house and adding French doors that open onto the side patio. If you missed that post, it contains the inspiration photo that convinced me to move forward with this change.
I’ve collected many images of rooms with double patio doors—some more elaborate than what we’ll do—but each one helped the ideas start to form. I’m really excited to add this feature to our home. Installing exterior French doors is a relatively straightforward remodel that brings in natural light, improves flow between indoors and out, and adds architectural character to both the interior and the exterior.
