Merry Christmas, friend. We launched this new Sunday series last week and scheduled this post in advance while taking a few days to be with family. If you’re reading this on Christmas, I hope you’re safe, warm, and celebrating in a cozy home with people you love.
This week the weather has been severe across much of the country, forcing plans to change. We had heavy snowfall here in our corner of Washington state, and it’s due to turn to rain over the next few days. That shift can create new challenges after a big storm.
When the weather’s harsh, we’re reminded how grateful we are for a home that shelters and comforts us. A warm, safe space matters more than ever during difficult conditions.
The holidays aren’t easy for everyone, and this season brings heartache for many. If you aren’t feeling merry right now, know you’re not alone. We’re thinking of you and hoping the season’s message of hope reaches you. Brighter days are ahead.
In this week’s Strolls and Scrolls, we’re celebrating the gift of a cozy home—a sanctuary during life’s storms. Below are warm, inviting rooms I’ve saved for inspiration; I hope they spark ideas for your own space.
