Caitlin Wilson’s Dining Room
II’ve always loved the charm wingback chairs bring to a dining room. They lend a welcoming, refined feel and work beautifully at the head of the table. Their classic silhouette mixes easily with many table styles and other chairs, creating an inviting and layered dining space. Whether patterned or solid, wingback chairs add texture and personality to a room.

You might have noticed in my summer house tour that I recently added a pair of wingback chairs to my dining table. They’re a slender, narrow style that fits well in a smaller room without dominating the space. In photos the chairs look a touch blue because of the lighting, but they are actually gray.
These wingbacks create a cozy focal point and add an appealing contrast when mixed with my table and the other chairs. The result is a relaxed, collected look that feels both elegant and comfortable.
