Good Eggs
A couple of weeks ago I wrote a guest post for Victoria’s blog, Decorating with Whimsy. She was so kind she sent a lovely box of surprises to thank me. Inside was this beautiful egg—it’s such a charming piece and I was delighted to place it in one of my nests. It’s a perfect addition to my collection and I’m so grateful to Victoria for the thoughtful gift.
I also want to thank Tonya from About.com’s Budget Decorating for featuring The Inspired Room as the Budget Decorating Blog of the Week. I was honored she found my blog and wrote such a nice feature. (No, I didn’t nominate myself—though it’s a fun thought!)
Thanks as well to Apartment Therapy’s Re-Nest for including my blue table in their roundup “Painted Pieces: Making Old Loves Work in New Spaces.” I appreciate the mention and love seeing creative ways people refresh old furniture.
And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has reached out about donating items to our church. Your generosity means so much—big hugs and sincere gratitude to each of you.
So many “good eggs” in blogland these days—don’t you think?
If you need a last-minute Easter brunch idea, I recently reposted our favorite egg dish on Facebook. If you missed that, here’s an older post where I shared the recipe and some decorating traditions—we’re making it again this year.
Have a blessed Easter, everyone!
