Decluttered Home: Monthly Organization Tips & More

Home Organization & Decluttering

TThis year has been a big year for organizing our home. We’ve clarified how we want to use each space and reorganized rooms, closets, and storage to better suit our daily life. The result is a home that feels more functional and comfortable. Over the next year I plan to fine-tune those systems, tackle every closet and drawer, and pare down the excess so our home works as well as possible for us.

Sorting through belongings, deciding what stays, and finding useful, peaceful systems for what remains has made a noticeable difference in our day-to-day. Living in an organized home reduces stress and makes it easier to enjoy the things we love.

With that in mind, I’m excited to share some news.

I’m writing a monthly column on decluttering and home organization for Uncle Bob’s Self Storage Company. They’re one of the largest self-storage companies in the U.S., and I’m thrilled to partner with them to bring practical tips and inspiration about creating orderly, livable spaces. I’ve been working with their team to launch this column and today I’m happy to announce it’s live.

The Decluttered Home

The column is called “The Decluttered Home,” and in it I’ll share ideas from my own journey as well as practical strategies you can use to get your home organized. My goal is to help you shape spaces you genuinely enjoy living in—spaces that support how you want to live rather than create more stress.

I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to dive deeper into creating a comfortable home through better organization. I’ll let you know when new articles are published on The Decluttered Home so you can follow along and share your own progress and tips.

Thank you for checking out my new column, The Decluttered Home. I’d love for you to leave a comment there and share your stories. My first two introductory posts are up, including a welcome post with a bit of my background and a piece called “4 Reasons Why You Might Have a Clutter Problem,” which a lot of readers find relatable.

I appreciate your support. Nothing about this blog is changing—this site remains my home base and I have plenty of content planned here as well, including more organization-focused posts. I’m eager to bring practical, usable ideas that help you love where you live.

If you have suggestions for organization topics you’d like to see covered, please share them in the comments—I’d really appreciate your input.
