Kitchens
Another inspiring kitchen to share this week. My friend Heather Bullard of Vintage Inspired Living recently completed a thoughtful update to her kitchen, and she kindly allowed me to feature her project here. Her makeover offers practical ideas for anyone looking to refresh a kitchen without a full remodel.
What stood out about Heather’s update:
- It was primarily a makeover rather than a complete remodel, demonstrating how impactful simple changes can be when you work with your existing layout.
- Her kitchen layout is similar to mine, so her choices offered useful ideas I can adapt for my own space.
- The addition of glass-front cabinets brightened the room. I’ve experienced the same effect in a previous kitchen where replacing a few solid doors with glass made the space feel more open and layered. I plan to incorporate that detail again.
- Overall, the project feels thoughtfully finished — the small details and personal touches give it warmth and character.
Heather’s before-and-after photos and her notes about the update are worth a look if you’re planning a similar refresh. Her approach shows how attention to paint, hardware, storage, and display can transform a kitchen without tearing everything out.
If you missed the kitchen I featured last week, you can find it in my previous post.
