Marian is a friend I met early in my blogging journey. She is the author and creator of Miss Mustard Seed. Her creativity spans many areas: she’s an entrepreneur, painter, artist and author.

I love following her blog as she refreshes a thirteen-year-old home, putting her signature touch on every room and doing much of the work herself. She even painted a mural on her dining room wall—simply gorgeous.

Her blog is full of cleaning tips and ideas, plus helpful printable worksheets to keep you organized. She offers a free monthly homekeeping calendar and several books, including Clean Mama’s Guide to a Healthy Home, which covers cleaning routines as well as information about household toxins.
