Merry Christmas, friends! Welcome to my holiday home tour. This year marks my 17th season of sharing Christmas decor ideas and home photos online, and I’m so grateful for everyone who has followed along. It’s a joy to connect with kindred spirits who love making a home feel warm and inviting through every season.
I prefer a simple, timeless approach to holiday decorating—lots of greenery, soft lights and a touch of nostalgia. I like to use items I already own, mixing a few new pieces with familiar favorites. Our battery window candles and hanging stars have become a treasured tradition in this house. This year we rearranged the tree to better suit our smaller living room and the many little ones and pets in our family. It feels right for now and might become a new tradition.
I tend to take a lot of photos, so there are many images in this post. I’ll share a Christmas video in a few days for anyone who prefers to watch rather than scroll through photos.
Throughout the post I’ve included source notes under several photos and gathered more links at the end for convenience. If you can’t find an item, my LTK profile lists sources by photo and has a search bar to help locate specific products. You can also leave a comment here with questions.
In a few days our whole family will be together, including both of our new grandbabies. I’m excited to slow down, savor the season and create new memories with loved ones.
Thank you for your kindness and support of our home, The Inspired Room and our family. Wishing you a peaceful and joyful Christmas!
