WWhen we moved from our previous house, we left our old sectional for the new owners. Although I knew I’d miss it, leaving it behind made sense since we were downsizing and the piece wouldn’t fit in our new home. We planned to find something smaller but similar in fabric and tone when the right time came.
You may have noticed a glimpse of the new sofa in my flooring reveal, but today I want to share more details and photos.

Last summer we found the perfect sectional with a chaise through Interior Define. It matched my vision exactly. The fabric is a performance velvet—super soft and cozy—with a deep charcoal color that carries a subtle blue undertone. At certain angles the fabric catches the light with a silvery sheen that brightens the rich velvety surface.

I didn’t stage the dogs for these photos; they insisted on being in every picture. Every time I bring out the camera, they want to be where I am—especially Jack, who is very much a people-dog. If you have pups, you know how that goes.
The sectional has clean piping details and slender, slightly sloped arms. This style is called the Caitlin and is part of the Everygirl Collection. It’s available as a chaise sectional and as a standard sofa. The overall look is comfortable yet refined, which is exactly the balance I was after.

The bench cushion is reversible and constructed with high-resilience foam wrapped in down, while the back cushions are filled with soft down. The combination makes the sectional perfect for stretching out and relaxing. Jack often treats the chaise like an ottoman and claims it as his own, but I find it ideal for lounging during a TV binge.

The back pillows are easy to fluff and adjust for comfort, or remove entirely if you need extra sleeping space. Their casual, relaxed fill makes the sectional feel inviting and lived-in.

Lol…Jack.

One of the things I appreciate about Interior Define is that their furniture is hand-crafted and made to order, so there are plenty of customization options. If you need a specific size, different cushion fill, custom legs, or an alternate fabric, they can accommodate those requests.
Despite the quality and customization, made-to-order pricing can still be competitive because purchases are handled online rather than through a traditional showroom. That helps make the pieces more affordable without compromising craftsmanship.
Interior Define also has a generous return policy. They want customers to love their furniture: you can return items within 14 days for a full refund with free shipping, or within 365 days with a modest restocking fee.
I recommend ordering their complimentary fabric swatches to help choose the right material and color before committing.

We truly enjoy this cozy gathering spot downstairs — and our pups do, too.

Our sectional is the 110″ Caitlin Chaise Sectional. We chose Mod Velvet in Narwhal with Oiled Walnut legs.
Thank you to Interior Define for providing this sectional!
Ps. You can find our pups on Instagram if you’d like to follow along — they love the camera as much as the couch. 🙂
