Have you noticed what these dining rooms share besides a table and chairs and that cozy vibe? Each one features a chandelier with a fabric or shaded cover. I didn’t spot it at first, but once you notice the shades, it’s easy to see why these rooms feel so warm and inviting. A shaded chandelier softens the light and adds texture and personality to the space.
I recently chose a jute chandelier with removable blue shades for our new dining nook. I liked the idea of swapping or removing the shades seasonally to refresh the look without replacing the whole fixture.

Sunday Strolls + Scrolls is a series that highlights interiors and exterior spaces I’ve loved while browsing the web. I look for spaces that feel like a sanctuary—rooms that are calming, approachable, and thoughtfully styled. I hope this series feels as restful as a leisurely walk, a quiet garden stroll, or a peek inside a welcoming home.
